DownDetector Confirms Spike in Outage Reports
According to outage-tracking website DownDetector, there was a significant spike in complaints from major cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata starting around 5 PM IST. The majority of issues reported were related to mobile internet (72%), followed by no signal (23%) and problems with phone calls (5%).

As of now, Reliance Jio has not issued any official statement clarifying the cause of the disruption or providing an estimated time for resolution. Customer support representatives have acknowledged the issue on individual queries but have not shared details about the extent of the outage.
