The registration process will begin on July 21, 2025, and will be conducted entirely online through the official portal mcc.nic.in.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET UG 2025 examination are eligible to participate in the counselling rounds. This process determines admission to government, deemed, and central medical and dental colleges under the All India Quota (AIQ).
NEET UG 2025 Counselling – Important Dates at a Glance
The counselling process will be conducted in four phases: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and a Stray Vacancy Round. Each phase includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted institutes.
Round 1 Schedule
- Registration & Payment: July 21 – July 28 (till 12 noon)
- Choice Filling & Locking: July 22 – July 28 (till 11:55 PM)
- Choice Locking Only: July 28 (3 PM – 11:55 PM)
- Seat Allotment Process: July 29 – July 30
- Round 1 Result: July 31
- Reporting to College: August 1 – August 6
Round 2 Schedule
- Registration & Payment: August 9 – August 11 (till 12 noon)
- Choice Filling & Locking: August 12 – August 18
- Choice Locking Only: August 18 (4 PM – 11:55 PM)
- Seat Allotment Process: August 19 – August 20
- Round 2 Result: August 21
- Reporting to College: August 22 – August 29
Round 3 Schedule
- Registration & Payment: September 3 – September 8
- Choice Filling & Locking: September 3 – September 8
- Choice Locking Only: September 8 (3 PM – 11:55 PM)
- Seat Allotment Process: September 9 – September 10
- Round 3 Result: September 11
- Reporting to College: September 12 – September 18
Stray Vacancy Round
- Registration: September 22 – September 24 (till 12 noon)
- Choice Filling & Locking: September 22 – September 25
- Choice Locking Only: September 25 (3 PM – 11:55 PM)
- Seat Allotment Process: September 25 – September 26
- Stray Round Result: September 27
- Reporting to College: September 27 – October 3
Key Guidelines for NEET UG 2025 Counselling

- Candidates must ensure they register within the given time frame and complete the choice filling process to be considered for seat allotment.
- Seat allotments will be based on NEET UG 2025 scores, candidate preferences, and availability of seats under the AIQ.
- After seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted college with all required documents for verification and admission formalities.
