Employee attrition witnessed a slight uptick, with the last twelve months (LTM) attrition rate rising to 13.8% in Q1FY26, up from 13.3% in Q4FY25. Despite this, TCS added over 5,000 new employees in the quarter, signaling confidence in project pipelines and future demand.

As of June 30, 2025, the company’s total workforce stood at 613,069, up from 607,979 in the previous quarter, maintaining its position as one of the world’s largest IT employers.
